"I want to congratulate you on your wonderful opera, Shadows of the City. I found it thoroughly engrossing, one of the most satisfying musical works I have heard in the last few years."
"BRAVO!!!!! Musical, original, honest, and well written. Cool Fool was a pleasure to listen to.
You wrote a wonderful little piece that can played many places by many musicians including those who never played a note of jazz."
Mr. Bo's music draws on his Classical training, study of Jazz, and is deeply rooted in his love of American popular music. He has created a style in which the music is both 'composed' in the traditional sense, while incorporating elements
of improvisation. He is a skilled arranger in styles from pop to big band, and has crafted orchestrations ranging from Verdi to Brubeck.
